Why isn't there a 1/48 scale kit of the H-3, CH-3, HH-3 helicopter on
the market? It was pretty heavily used by the US Air Force during and
after Vietnam and even into Desert Storm. Any supporters out there?
Manufacturers: We could sure use this kit. How about it?

Definitely.  The Air Force H-3s have earned a good kit in any scale.
(The rare Aurora HH-3 in 1/72 is actually a nice kit.  The Revell is
rivet-encrusted but has better drop tanks.)  The CSAR Jolly Green or
Special Ops Pave Pig would be welcome in 1/48th.

Okay Academy, you did the Marine Phrog - now try an Air Force Jolly.

IIRC, the Lindberg snap kit isn't too bad either.
