was that a monogram kit?
i don't have one, just curious.

Modelcraft did two versions, one was the night fighter (black) and the
other was the long range record flight setter (silver/red/blue). I
believe I have the silver/red/blue marking one.

FWIW   The Monogram kit was a 1/72 scale kit, the night fighter version

The Monogram kit built into both versions in one box. Hobbycraft also
issued a copy of the Mongram kit.

would make a great 1/24 Trumpeter kit.
