Hellcat Always in that 3 Shade of Blue Camo???

Any chance it was painted in just one shade of blue??

I really really hate that three color scheme.......

Sure - overall glossy sea blue was the standard specified camouflage
scheme for all carrier-borne aircraft from October, 1944 onwards.

Or, there's the assortment of post-war F6FK "drones" in a variety of
reds and yellows supplimenting or even replacing completely the overall
sea blue scheme.

Early Hellcats flew in Bluegrey/Grey.
