Hi Guys!

Well, it's that time again when the model kits that are left from our

Hope you find something you just can't live without!

And when he says he has a pile of kits, he _means_ he has a pile of kits:

Got flameproof clothes?  Or, is it going down below triple digits out
there by then?

we are the same as vegas and have barely broken 112.

When he mentioned Las Vegas, I had these horrible images of him leaving
some models he had purchased in the car by accident, and coming back to
find a molten mass of styrene in a sealed ITC F-108 box. :-)

Just guessing but he probably prefers the lack of the Gulf so close.
Plus, it's a dry heat. ;)

Ours starts tomorrow and dry it won't be... :(

I have been telling everybody that I'll take 110 degrees in Vegas over
80 degrees in Gulfport ANY day!  There is a LOT to be said for a dry
heat!

That being said, I left a bagged Revell DC-8 in the van - with the
windows open. A few hours later, I had something... but it sure wasn't
a DC-8 any more. Hopefully that will be a lesson learned!

I had a friend whose parents lived down there, and he said the city was
thick with Black Widow spiders.
Is that the case?

there are bw's there, but it's not a huge number. they are
incredibly easy to spot, their webs are like here be a bw!
they are mostly comatose, so it takes them a bit to get
moving. it's common sense, watch where you stick your body
parts. there are as many in mo. and nc.
vegas does not have brown recluse's...a real plus.
and even the killer bees are easy to deal with if you pay
attention. a few hives have been found in vegas.
if you're somewhere and bees butt into you, literally, like
5-6 times, go the opposite direction quickly. that's all.

The advantage of Las Vegas is that accidental death is fairly rare for
tourists.
If you die it's probably intentional, and because you didn't show the
proper degree of respect to Big Vinnie when he sent his representative
to you to discuss your repaying your gambling debts to him on a easy
installment plan at 10% interest...compounded hourly. :-)

disneycorp sent vinnie back to chicago.
most vegans don't gamble and the snowbirds are the worst
problem. they rubberneck and cause accidents.
