The design makes the big mistake of nearly all amateur dirigible
designs...way too much payload, way to0 little space for the lifting gas.
Stick enough aircraft up there, and the dirigible is going to capsize
due to being top heavy.
You would also end up landing while heading straight toward the control
tower, which means you do a landing with a tailwind, or they either stop
the airship or start going backwards for you.
On the other hand, most airships of that size could hit 50-60 MPH, so
the takeoff run should be pretty short. In fact, with that biplane they
show you might have to strap it down to the deck to keep it from lifting
off into the headwind when the hangar doors are opened.
