Hi Michael! I'd be surprised if you haven't seen this already on a
Russian forum, but go here:

Michael, I know you're an expert on VVS GPW aircraft, so please
forgive me for posting so many links. I wanted to do this because the
VVS subject seems to get very little attention on rec.models.scale,
and I was hoping others would become interested too!

Paint it green, paint it white, throw on some red stars and zippitydoodah
ya got yerself a Russkie P-40.  I don't see any outward differences other
than the odd exhausts.  Is there something I've missed, and where do you
get the pipes?

The prop spinner is smaller and there's an exposed area behind the
spinner.  There are also some other different lumps and bumps.
I'm surprised that there isn't a greater difference as the Klimov was
the Russian relative of the Hispano-Suiza 12Y series.
This is one that's slipped by my radar.  I did make up a P-63 in VVS
markings years ago.  IIRC it was the old Aoshima kit.

I got resin conversion from Czech, pointed some higher
It contains 3 blades, smaller spinner, another top engine part,
exhausts and front part
