I picked one of these up today.  I haven't opened it yet.  It's is
built in sections with interior detail.  I was wondering if anyone has
done or seen one of these before.  Link below to take a look:

Does anyone know of a 1/144 sub model - simple, (and cheap)?  I'm
thinking about adding a shoreside scene to an n scale (1/160) model
railroad layout and a submarine - German or otherwise - could be a
possible fit.

Read what the Count said. He picked up a Targa 1/144 U-Boat. That is a
German sub.

Bill,

Sorry for not making myself clear; in too much of a hurry.  I saw that
the Targa is 1/144 and I know that it's German.  I should have said,
however, that it's far too complex for my purpose.  I don't need (or
want) something in multiple sections, or with interior, or with crew.
And, I think I recall it being listed at $65.00 or so.

But thanks for the links to the others.  Perhaps one of those will be
more in line with what I'm looking for.
