Sorry for the bad language but its how i feel...

Just tried straightening the rear tail on a 72nd Italeri SU22 2 seater, been
working on the kit for months on and off, had to spend ages filling and
making up new pylons and the kits are way wrong, shaping, even fitting a
resin cockpit which didnt want to go.

Boiled the water, straightend nice i thought...then noticed a bulge where my
thumb was..and totally wobbly shape (the tail wasnt sitting dead upright,
leaned off)  so after getting it dead straight, i made a mess of the whole
thing..tried to straighten and push the other way the bulges but now the
sodding plastic wont go back.

Its a hardish, not cheap kit to find and im skint and i hate to waste
it....all i can think of, is use the KP Su22 for which i have a pile of, but
wont think i will ever use as the airbrakes are not scribed in and looks
abit dodgy in places.  Thinking of cutting off the tail on the spine and
replacing it.

im gutted...

sorry again for the bad language...it wont happen again,.

And here I thought that the sound was Dennis producing yet another of
his unique modeling creations.

All you had to say was "Italeri", and the rest of us would have
supplied the word.
