I know where that box case came from. Its from a pneumatic chart box
used in the oil industry. The pneumatics drives a pen or in some
versions two. The circular chart is driven by clockwork. When things
went digital a decade ago these chart boxes were scrapped. I have a
dozen in my garage I use for storage plus the exquisitely made air
filters air regulators i use for my airbrush compressor.
