What really was impressive to watch was the working torsion bar suspension, which looked very realistic as it went over small rocks and twigs. The motorized tank model that really was a packing job for Tamiya was the the 1/35th scale PzKpfw II. That thing's whole hull was full of battery and gearboxes to get it to work, although it didn't have remote control IIRC. Some put a value that is too high on them and others put to low a value on them. To me any kit is only worth what some one is willing to pay for it.
