Okay, I'm ranting again...

Just watching a show on History international about the cold war.
I want to know, just where in the heck is my 1/72 HMMT with
Pershing II and launcher!?!?  And gimme a HAWK missile launcher
and while you're at it I'd like a GLCM too!  If we can FINALLY buy
a decent Merkava, S-300, HMMWV of various designs, and an
Abrams with mine plow, WHY CAN'T we do the NEAT STUFF!

What about a damned NIKE!  What about an Atomic Annie!  C'mon
Jack, gimme the sutff that was new back in the '60's; like an
M-47 or Walker Bulldog!  Sheesh, I can buy a Bradley with stinger
missiles but I can't get a decent freaking US SAM of any sort in
God's own scale.

And while I'm at, would someone PUH-LEASE make a decent
new tool kit of the F-102 and F-106...  Put that damned Hasegawa
kit out of our misery fer chrissake!

Rant mode off.

You may now return to your previously scheduled model byuilding.

Hi there.

What's wrong with the Hasegawa F-102 and the F-106? I'm curious as I
have both kits under construction?

Cheers from Peter

I know your pain - from an aircraft-modelling perspective, I've been
begging for new, accurate 1/72 kits of the Yak-1b, Lavochkin La-5
series, and Polikarpov 1-153 for YEARS - maybe a La-9, too... I've
lost count, literally, of the number of kits I've butchered, patched,
bashed, and otherwise sacrificed to try to achieve models of these
aircraft, and still my prayers go unanswered. Truly, I must have
offended the Model Gods deeply that they continue to scorn my
supplications and sacrifices!

You could still get 'em.  I mean, this year were getting two Sea Vixens and
a plethora of Lightnings from three different companies, so anything is
possible.
