What is that ? ( Bf 109G-10 )

I'm not much of an expert at all on German WW II fighters.

In this photo of a model ... I was just curious ... protruding below
the left wing ... and cranked forward.   Is that an antenna ?

Those G model 109's were really neat looking.

Indeed it is.  It is the antenna for the FuG-16ZY VHF radio.  The antenna is
uasually referred to as the Morane mast.

That's the same one sticking out of the top of the Me-163B rocket
fighter, isn't it?

It is indeed a whip radio antenna supplementing the radio mast antenna.

This antenna seems to have been introduced sometime in the 109G-14
production run and appears to have been standard on the Bf 109K models.
