Roger that - I should get my ponies back in a week, I think.  Hopefully
they work them in parallel.  Last time I showed up at the bar without a
bike they made me go home and get one...guess I'm socially unacceptable
for the time being.

I'm feeling up and down this week - had some gut pain, but seem to be ok
right now.  I know I was flared before my last scope, but I've seemed to
be improving since...or was it the codine I was on for the pneumonia?..

"Lock stock and barrel all the dogs were gone to feral and the car ran
like a broken perculator -
His liver had gone hard and he wouldn't mow the yard,
There was big money on the line...
And I heard that his brother was a viking -
He liked to solve a problem with a gun...

hibbert. and the he did the famous drool.
what song is that? yeah, yeah, but it isn't hopelessly obscure, i bet.

Butthole Surfers - "Cough Syrup".  Couldn't get it out of my head when I
was having to take the stuff...the NP told me that if I called her back
and told her I'd spilled it and needed more that she would know I was a
drug addict..."and I hate cough syrup don't you?"  Over and over, for
two weeks, on top of the antibiotics...

...I'm slowly finding out that all the things that stop my gut from
hurting all have opiate of some form in them...codine, Vicodin,
Ultram...that's all I can have for pain now besides acetaminophen, anyway.

If I'd knocked off work I probably would have just been comfortably
numb...but it was walkin' pneumonia so I figured I'd better just walk it
off, even if I was half stoned half the time.  Seems to have worked.

I can't have any non-steroidal anti-inflammitants (NSAIDS) - they
aggravate the disease.  So it could be back to prednisone at some time
in the future for (hopefully) short stints.  If things get worse and/or
I stop responding to Colazal the next step might be Remicade, or 6-MP -
which is actually an immuno-suppressant chemo drug used to treat
leukemia.  Not sure how much of that I'd have to be on...hoping to avoid
at this point.  Colazal isn't really for treating Crohn's, but I seem to
be responding to it for the moment.

The wagon just picked up my wheels...I'm already feelin' crippled
without 'em...

chaps, anyway...the leather jeans are another story...

They've been known to...especially when I start shooting hop-shots.
Sometimes they leave the table on a non-return, free orbital trajectory...

I think I'm the only one in town that can pull off sinking shots off a
hop consistently - I try to make at least one per game.  Impressed the
hell out of some redhead a couple weeks ago when I sank the 8 into a
corner by hopping over her block of leaving me a straight shot.  She'd
never seen that before.
