Well, in 1/35th scale, ya got a choice of Tamiya or Tamiya. The have a
couple of different boxings of a late war Universal carrier, differing
only in the figures provided. The tracks need replacing. There was
also the original 1973 boxing with the Western Desert campaign
figures, but the vehicle in the kit is too late for North Africa.

i would have thought more makers would do it. it's pretty damn important as i
know you're aware. a correct model desert would be great fo my wd dio.
though a late model has lots of potential.
hey enzo, i hear they kicked around raf bases till the early 60's?

Unfortunately, the Germans used the captured Bren Carriers
to make Open/Ford/KHD Maultiers, which explains why companies are
not falling all over themselves to get Bren Carriers out.

Now, if you could find a photo of a captured Bren Carrier
with a balkenkreutz with some wierd gun on it, send it to Dragon
AND Trumpeter and watch them cut molds...

At over 100,000 built, it more than doubled the M4 Sherman production.
How many model manufacturers build Shermans? How many built more than
one version of Sherman, or just changed the main gun, then reissued the
same model with the new gun?
The Universal carrier needs an agent. :-)
