I;m working on an AFV Club Stryker and am at the point of closing her
up...meaning, it's time to install the vision blocks.  I've been
experimenting painting this over that on old clear sprue, but don't
like any of the results.  A quick search on the FSM web site turned up
an article that was in the Dec '04 issue.  Searched the stacks but
can't find that issue.  Please... some help here...self stick mylar?
candy wrapper?  anything?  If you're not sure what ballistic glass
looks like, it looks like either magenta or purple colored
glass...here's a couple examples...

look at both colors pretty well...

All help and suggestions are appreciated.

I've seen decent results where someone has used a piece of color film
negative.

I went to Hobby Lobby to see what I could find to use there...and take
advantage of the 40% coupon...found sequins that are flat not convex.
Colors are almost perfect too.  $1.25 solution.  Any other suggestions
would be helpful since I have a couple days and a bucks worth of
materials.

Thanks

...Wouldn't something like the plastic sequins are made out of work in
this case? Sounds like a trip to Hobby Lobby might be in order.
