WmB - 28 Jun 2009 20:22 GMT I thought I was safe on the NFL channel, but Wacko-Jacko showed up there too. You'd think the guy cured cancer... or knew how to scribe panel lines.

I bet Eric Clapton knows how to scribe panel lines...I hear he's an avid model car builder. If I could sit down and talk to Clapton, that's what I'd most like to chat with him about.

I had the misfortune to suffer the non-stop live coverage on BBC News channel in the early hours of the morning. One interesting bit was the helicopter used to ferry the singer's corpse. It looked like a Sea King to me? It had the most fascinating color scheme which included candy-striped rotor blades. The news commentator attributed the helicopter to the L.A. Coroner's Office but I'm unable to find a reference to that or picture which matches it anywhere online.

They use them on SAR missions & such. Never seen one used as a coroner vehicle. Ah, money.

It looked a bit like the President's helicopter at night. I was thinking what a great modelling subject it would make especially for someone who already has a collection of Sea Kings.

The other night NBC Nightly News spent all of three minutes on the news. The rest of the time was devoted to that twinky. It's not like there isn't a plethora of problems we should be kept aware of. We still have two wars going on, Iran's in crisis, North Korea is, well, nuts; Sanford was busy being derelict in his duties and there's important stuff going on in Congress. It was just yesterday that I read about the crisis in Honduras and today the TV managed to carry the story. Craaap! WOGL just ruined Sunday Night Oldies with a Wacko recording. Will someone hurry up and bury that corpse!

The important thing here is that we get to the part where you ask me how I'm gonna get down to the shore.
Oh, how you gettin' down to the shore?
Funny you should ask, I've got a car now...
Ah wow, how'd ya get a car?
Oh, my folks drove it up here from the Bahamas.
You're kidding!
I must be, the Bahamas are islands. Okay, the important thing here is that, uh, you ask me what kinda car it is.
Uh uh, what kinda car do ya' got?
I've got a bitchin' Camaro...
