Where can I find alt.binaries free new server?

Many of the ISPs are canceling either alt.* or *ALL* news groups.

Your best bet is a cheap pay service such as NewsGuy (
http://newsguy.com/ ) - they have onc plan $12/6-months, limit 3Gb/month.

Yep. I was with Rogers, they canned news groups 2 years ago. I left Rogers.
Now these guys stop doing newsgroups, now I am looking for another
provider with news groups.  Or $5 monthly rebate from provider.

Same with AOHell - they dumped the binaries for the official reason of
protecting the children from the evil pornographers who posted their
nasty photos on the Usenet. They didn't bother with an excuse when
they dumped the text groups.
Real reason might be that they weren't getting any profit in carrying
these, so they got dumped.

Before AT&T dumped their's, they admitted that Usenet traffic amounted
to > 2 Tb per *day*

I use Astraweb's 'pay by download' system. $10US for 25Gb has lasted
me since March with several Gb left. The only bin groups I look at are
models.scale,  multimedia.aviation and pictures.aviation. My own ISP
has SFA groups other than local chat.

...That would last me about one *day* based on my current download
addictions :-(
