The start/stop cycle for NASA has entered stop mode.
I was hoping it would still be going when the old Pilgrim Space
Observer model got rereleased, so I could joke about replacing
the old Apollo-style crew capsule with an up-to-date Orion CEV.

Maybe someday when the economy has healed - yeah right! Politicans and
the military don't want free and independent humans living out where
they can't be controlled.
After two unnecessary wars, an economy in the toilet and helped lead
to a global economic meltdown and all of the assualts on personal
liberties in this country, all of Bush's promises to return to the
Moon and then off to Mars were simply more bullshit and rah-rah for
the a.sholes in the street.
Now we'll have to kiss Russian a.s to even go to the ISS.

And South Philly, where the ~other~ Mob once lived......
I remember walking through there on Sunday mornings dining off the
farmers' market back when I lived at the Naval Yards.
Precious few Russians there back then.

Hey ~we're~ finally comming back to the 20s and looking at maybe into
the 30s this weekend. That means I'll be able to spend a bit more time
out in the workshop. We were licky in the snow department as well; we
had barely 40" since December 1st; that's read low for this area
(Western part of the People's Republic of New York).
Dunkirk Dave (local answer to Puxatawney Phil) didn't see his shadow,
so Spring's around the corner!

Hold on there Comrade. I heard our current Chimp in Chief state that
he was going to support NASA and its new manned moon mission. 'Course
that was about a year ago. My how time flies when you're spending
money.
