Just got back from seeing the movie "Avatar" and I have to ask, is anyone making or plan to make any of the harware from the film? This would include the Battle Walker, the ersatz helicopter, the shuttle and the, well the flying fortress for want of a better term. Figures? That movie was GREAT! Judging by the trouble Airfix had with BBC Enterprises over their first foray into the realms of Dr. Who models, it could be upto a year before anything comes to light. That flying fortress reminds me of the Bell X-23A that I used to see flying along over western New York back in the day. And as far as that shuttle is concerned, I have a thing for large delta-winged funky- looking flying objects. I liked seeing the Battlewalkers on screen, but most likely wouldn't build a model of one.
