I know it's an old page but the ship sure doesn't look black to
me in the photo.

Stealth Ship Seen On Puget Sound
POSTED: 12:50 p.m. PDT April 11, 2003
UPDATED: 12:51 p.m. PDT April 11, 2003
BREMERTON, Wash. -- Some boaters may have noticed an unusual ship today on Puget Sound, and Chopper 7 got some pictures of the vessel.
It's the Navy's Sea Shadow.
The 164-foot long ship has some of the same design features of a stealth fighter.
It was built in secrecy in the mid-1980's to avoid sensors. It was declassified in 1993.
The Sea Shadow is based in San Diego and is now used us test advanced technologies.
It has been at the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard since December for maintenance work.
