Does anyone in modellers land know of any aftermarket USAF style solid
wheels for the Skyraider to replace the spoked Navy style ones in the
Hasegawa kit?

In 1/48 check www.squadron.com for TD48084 True Details from USAAD/A-1
Skyraider Wheels 1/48 $1.97

Don't know about 1/72, but can't you just fill in the openings? I did it
years ago with epoxy- just let it flow in until it just covers the spokes.
