Fibreglass resin primer?

It's all in the subject, do fibreglass resin need a primer? What's the
best?

Will an enamel light grey work?

I would (and do!) use an automotive acrylic lacquer primer on fiberglass, as it
is more easily wet-sanded to remove small surface imperfections.  One can use
any type of paint over acrylic lacquer primer, however.
