e - 24 Apr 2004 23:28 GMT congratulations, spamming this 10 times made sure you are kill filed and marked stupid.
Martin Bayer - 26 Apr 2004 19:36 GMT > congratulations, spamming this 10 times made sure you are > kill filed and marked stupid. Not everybody reads the exact same newsgroups, so I carefully selected the ones I thought might be interesteed in my offer. 'Spamming', as you erroneously labeled it, would be if I posted it indiscriminately everywhere and anywhere, irrespective of the relevance of the topic. I fail to see what is 'stupid' about this approach (and since I'm an aerospace engineer, I don't exactly consider myself an idiot - what's your background BTW?). If you have problems with the concept of using the web for widespread dissemination of information and getting maximum exposure, perhaps you should consider refraining from using it altogether - otherwise eventually everybody will end in your killfile. I also notice you don't even bother (or dare) to use your real name in your posting, so I am starting to wonder whether I should not even consider it a distinction to be in your killfile. Have a nice life.
Best regards,
Martin Bayer
e - 26 Apr 2004 20:22 GMT posting the same ad 10 times with a different header to evade filters is spamming. it violates your isp's tos. which you obvioulsy never read. my background is noyfb.
Maiesm72 - 26 Apr 2004 23:13 GMT Maybe someone should turn the spammer over to S++++++y's lawyers. :-)

have you ever checked my postings in this group for content? If you would have done so, you would have discovered they are all different. It is beyond me why you would consider that spamming. I think any lawyer, Sikorsky or not, would agree with me on this.

It is interesting (though hardly surprising) that although I alledgedly am in your 'kill file' and 'marked stupid', you actually still read my message and felt compelled to respond to it. Do I have to point out to you that this empty 'threat' did nothing to enhance your credibility?
You are evidently factually incorrect in your claim that I posted this particular message (or any other other, for that matter) '10 times'. If you had bothered to actually check my individual messages, you would have discovered that each one pertains to a different set of books, and that I deliberately separated them out to make it easier for readers to identify the books they might be interested in by the heading, rather than lump them all together under a generic 'books for sale', as well as to avoid having one unwieldingly long listing. I can only speculate what gave you the bizarre idea I would try to sell the very same set of books under different (misleading) headings - perhaps because you yourself might be inclined to display such a behaviour? But once again, I am not really surprised that you make an unsubstantiated allegation without checking its veracity - it fits in the overall picture you have managed to convey of yourself already in two short messages.
As a matter of principle, I should make you aware that I am not really prone to react positively to any lecturing from people who post anonymous messages containing false allegations and display a rather rude tone of conversation.
I retract my former wish to you for having a nice life with regrets.
Sincerely
Martin Bayer
e - 27 Apr 2004 17:56 GMT blah blah you're one of those clowns like the ad morons who think if you bludgeon someone with an ad over and over, they'll buy your crap. or you think people are stupid and need to hear your pitch 10 times. in either case you're just a huckster. i wouldn't send you a nickel, ever. my name is noyfb either, and if you don't like it, so?
Al Superczynski - 27 Apr 2004 19:47 GMT >...you think people are stupid and need to hear your pitch >10 times. You're off base here. I read each of his ads and each one was for a different subset of brochures.

I was starting to feel like in an online version of the Twilight Zone.
Best wishes,

Once again, if you actually cared to check the facts, you would have found all my messages were not only different in title but also in content - i.e. the one with 'Sikorsky' in the title only pertained to documents on helicopters by that manufacturer and not any aircraft by Boeing or Lockheed, while the one with 'Boeing' in the tile in turn only dealt with documents on Boeing aircraft, rather than Starlifters or Sabres, and - well, you (hopefully?) get the idea. Endlessly repeating a false accusation (some might acutally call it a lie), as you do above, does not make it true. But you increasinly strike me as one of those persons who never let facts stand in their way, so if you insist on continuing to make a public fool out of yourself, by all means, please do so, mr. noyfb.

>congratulations, spamming this 10 times made sure you are >kill filed and marked stupid. Kill filed by whom? Certainly not you. This is a sight that modlers use to pass information, talk to friends, keep up with what bothers us and sell items we deem of interest to each other. The books in question are indeed interesting to many here. I don't model ac's nor do I model rotary ac's. However your ditribe about his intentions andyour snide remark about his mental capacities led me to investigate further. If I were modeling in that area those books would be extremly helpfull. Please be a little more careful in your judgments. We need more of his offerings not less. If you threaten to kill file someone by all means please do so. Oh yes, please include me in your kill file.
