Checked the web and found one hit. It is a brown pigment. A kind of dark
brown stain.

Take it from an experienced ship modeler. Nothing, especially paint or
pigment, is that critical. You're finishing something made out of wood.
Ordinary wood finishing supplies can do the trick. As for pigments, the
analine dies are excellent (and expensive) -- but for most purposes, the
Minwax stains are just fine.
Direct him to the ship modeling FAQ for suggestions, supplies,
URL's, etc.

I know what nogaline is, It is a wood stain (walnut stain). I guess it isnt
called nogaline outside of Spain . I am after the stuff as well to do HMS
Pandora. Go on google and just write "Minwax" This company makes wood stains.
Write "walnut stain" when you get on the Minwax page. That's the stuff you
want
