well as the content and style.  As Marty, SirSpanky is
_relatively_ restrained, although he did get a little carried
away recently and the style of his invective revealed the
genetic link to jepperson and Spanky.  There are enough racist

   There are vast differences in the three people you mentioned as being
worthless.

    Fisty first showed up crying about his families miss-adventures at a
train show perhaps hoping to find some sympathy and found little, but opened
the door for a Jer-Marty-Epperson flame fest so poor bastard never really
had a chance to participate in a real thread. He further pissed off a few of
the more testy members with the picture post. Then asked why an off topic
post was not admonished by now thinking everyone picks on just him. If he
doesn't quit the group he will probably find a way to get along and develop
a thicker skin.

   Ratty is reactionary and only goes nuts when provoked. Just about
anything might set him off.... on topic or not and its hard tell just what
that might be. His stance is that if you differ from his view on anything
you are an idiot that needs lambasting. He does however have some model
railroading knowledge and often reported his thoughts both positive and
negative on the items that he has acquired and is capable of civil on topic
discussion............rarely but capable.

   Mark on the other is extremely knowledgeable about model railroading and
prototypes through out the world and has supplied answers or ideas on many
occasions. He has never really flamed anyone other than guys like Epperson
and Ratty or the occasional bozo who turns up. The occasional bozo often
being yet another personality of Epperson. He has taken aim at you a few
times as you have been the one and only supporter (unknowingly or not) of
Marty Hall who has helped fan the Jer-Marty-Epperson flames.   Mark and a
few guys from the other side of the world from us who don't like each other
go at it from time to time. But their online exchanges are usually isolated
to a few particular threads that may be easily bypassed or read for
entertainment and do not escalate the battle on to the greater list. Even
as they are bashing each other interesting information about railroads
outside of North America often surfaces if you have some interest in this.

The only person who has been truly been problematic as of late is Marty
Hall. He absolutely has been the only one to post intentional off topic
subjects to start flame wars and has taken every opportunity to jump in on
threads where ever he finds a chance to antagonize someone. If he had never
been in the picture your view of everyone else may have been quite
different.

  Marty Hall - Jerry - John Epperson are all John R Epperson. He or they
have also gone under names such as okiechoo, missperfect and many others.
Epperson and his many personalities who are all extremely mean spirited post
only to antagonize and instigate.

   Give Fisty some time to acclimate then if he doesn't burn him. Ratty is
a real character who is almost comical, like a vicious little pet without
teeth but would probably tell one he's an idiot in person not just on line.
Plonk him if you don't get a laugh out of him. Mark is a knowledgeable
person who happens to be temperamental and will cuss you out when you post
things that provoke him. Unlike Ratty it's very easy to know what might piss
Mark off. One should know better than to post stuff that will get a bad
reaction from people unless that's the point. Mark Newton has on list and
off supplied very helpful information in regards to the older US steam I
model even though he's in OZ. Had you made friends of the right person he
might have been of value but appearances are that you took up with one of
the worst and most persistent trolls RMR has ever had. One that you will
never have any benefit from having met.

Your statement to Terry Flynn regarding social class and others about
individuals intelligence had a tone of arrogance that certainly might
antagonize Mark or someone else or a least give confidence to a renewed
onslaught of vulgar trolling flames by one of Epperson's personas. I find it
difficult to believe that you did not see Marty Hall /Epperson as a
blatantly obvious instigating troll and that you didn't post along in
support with him unless you were intentionally attempting encourage Marty to
further insult Mark or provoke him yourself.  Didn't you see that Marty
Halls derogatory remarks about Fistys kid was not just to enrage Fisty but
an attempt to inflame others on the list who have kids or grand kids? For
one who would not voluntarily socialize with the lower classes why would you
take up with a vulgar Oklahoma trailer trash lizard here on RMR? Certainly
one would think from Marty's unimaginative and anal fixated language that he
lives in or very close to the gutter.

   And the Epperson personalities......oh well. About the time you filter
one out a new one will appear. Epperson's intention is set group members
against each other and it looks like he's had some limited success but was
not able to suck in very many group members this time or turn the list into
wide open war. I noticed he posted as Marty Hall that he is leaving the
group. Perhaps he is getting more support and action on the racial hate and
the I love Ronald Regan news groups he belongs to as Epperson, Jerry and as
Marty Hall. Either that or he has found some new perverted spanking S&M pals
to whip his hind end. Or maybe tomorrow he will show up as a new poster or
even as Epperson to attemp to get the flames burning again. Will you be his
pal then?
