Greetings,

Can anyone recommend a Model Train detailer? Preferably, one who has a
website. I want to buy undecorated trains from Aristo and have them
lettered with my children's names.

Advance thank you[s]

Your local hobby shop should know somebody that can do that stuff without
any problems.
I'll note that the cost of doing such stuff is often a lot more than the
cost of the car itself.

Thanks Bob. Money is an object.

Darryl,
You can get decal or dry transfer letter sets. If you use decals a
bottle of decal set would be a good idea. Other than that all you need to
get is a small spray can of clear gloss or satin finish whatever would match
the finish surface on you models best. Very easy to do, takes only a little
time, no tools are needed besides something to cut with, a tooth pick, a
q-tip and maybe a pin. Or if you use dry transfers a dull pencil is handy.
It will probably cost less than twenty dollars even if you have to get an
extra letter set to have enough of a particular letter. Decals and dry
transfer letter sets come in all sizes and colors even gold and silver. Your
hobby shop guy should be able to help you. Bruce
