Anybody know anything about Associated Hobby Manufactures? I have acquired a SP cab forward made for or by them. It has been produced for several decades with gradual improvements to wheels and mechanisims over the years. Bought used from an old guy that had detailed it and was moving into a nursing home (no room for it anymore). I started in the hobby back in the late 60's as a teen and living by the SP tracks above the San Fernando valley in the 50's. (Ya late steam, PFE and tank trains) Still remember a PFE derail above Chatsworth climbing the grade heading north just before the Stonie mountain tunnel. Thinking of building a duel gauge layout in HO and N with long trains now that I finally have the room. Now to just find the time.
