John H. Armstrong died July 28, 2005. His family graciously opened his
home for a last layout tour of the Canadigiua Southern Railroad
Company on October 2, 2005.

You can view about 200 pictures by opening
http://home.comcast.net/~Potomac_NMRA/. In the left column click on
Recent Layout Tours, then scroll down to October 2, 2005 and click
again.

While you're at the Potomac Division site, you might want to look at
some of the other features. I recommend the collection of Clinics.
Suggestions concerning the web site are welcome.

Thanks very much for posting the link. I think John's design book was
the second model railroad book I purchased. I've "seen" parts of the
layout through articles but this is great.

Great! Thanks for the info and link, Marshall. Brings back some fond
memories. I had the pleasure and honor of meeting John Armstrong and
seeing his railroad back in 1980. I've always admired his work. Of
course, I've worn out his books over the years. John was an inspiration
for all of us.

BTW, your railroad is looking good, Marshall.
