metal used in Life Like Proto 2000 whel sets

Hi I need to findout out what metal are used in the Life Like Proto 2000
wheel sets

Any help would be appreciated.

I think they are nickle plated brass.

A type of brass or bronze. (NB that so-called nickel silver is actually
a type of bronze.) They will probably tell you if you ask them nicely.
