Atlas Switch Machine Doesn't Quite Fit

Hi-

I'm wondering why the Atlas L remote switch machine doesn't quite fit
properly to the #4 L turnout.  The tie with the notch nearest the throw
rod seems a bit short and is bent upward slightly with the switch
machine in place.  It isn't a snug fit.

What am I overlooking?  Thanks.

Probably bit of flash (thin strip of plastic along the parting line of
the mold), or minor molding error. Take the machine off, examine both it
and the switch closely. Judicious use of file and knife will make the
machine fit.
