Fellas,
The HOn3 Bachmann trolley, street car, tram, is a nice little model and
runs well, but to look right it should run under wires with its pole up.
Then, when you get to the end of the run the pole should be turned around so
that the car can reverse. I don't think that any modeller has yet worked out
a way to do this automatically. A balloon loop would overcome this pole
reversal problem Of course you could remove the pole and say that it is
running on stud contact or conduit.

Bill.

Hello!
At first I hope you can read my English. I am living in Austria, my language
is German and the English-times at school are long ago.
Well, you are writing about the problem of the automatic reversal of a
trolley-pole at the end of a tram-line.
I had a simple solution on my last small On30-layout. Now I am building a new
one this winter and there will be the same situation of a reversal.
Now, I am not able to send you a photo - the old layout was scrapped - but if
you send me your email-adress, I can send you a little Excel-drawing so that
your can see how it works. It is more simple than you think - a short
discription will say: "Only one wire on the right position!" - that is all.
Really, it was a long way to that stupid solution:-)
Best regards from Austria
Herwig
