This is also a testing, my browser seems to be a tad cranky today and
won't let me post to news groups. Well, it didn't before but seems to be
now.....sigh!

This idea popped up last night after we were talking about what I now
call the "Darwin flight sim", a "manned" capsule using the biggest
motors. The name is obvious, you'll win the Darwin Awards for sure with
that stunt. But it would be an interesting project if scaled down and
used with a doll or manikin. One person mentioned they know someone that
refurbishes old Barbie dolls and likely someone would pay for one that
went on a "real space flight", of course complete with spacesuit,
documentation of altitude reached, and likely a flight video.....can't
have a Barbie without all the accesories. Could be a fun little PR stunt.

I have a "My Size Barbie" stashed in my office who was horribly
disfigured with nail polish by my then 5yo.  I have plans for building
her her own "My Size Barbie Jet-Pack"...

A couple of G80's should do the trick.  Proper recovery is the issue
though...

Do not look in the direction of the flash...
Curl up in a ball as you hit the ground...

The nosecones are what're causing the CP/CG problems..

Gotta work on that...

As she gets older and they move "aft", this will be less of a
problem.

That works better when flying a "Long-Time Companion Ken".

And you get Justin Timberlake to deploy them in flight...
