It has been mentioned in this newsgroup that the power of lurkers should not
be underestimated.

Speaking as one, I would love to see how many of us there are.

No political agendas--just respond.

This is an example of Iz's typical post.  No provable facts to back it
up.  Of course if you think like Iz, that makes it true.

That's why they are called "lurkers".

If they respond they become a "poster".

Nonsense.  If I lurk for a year then post once am I a "poster?"

I refuse to give up my lurker status.

I'm with you. If there's any vote I think Iz is nuts.

Back under the rock.

In this case, you call them lurkers, I'll call them uncompelled by the
'compelling evidence.'

OK, I'll bite.  Probably get a lot more spam now though!  :-)

I was looking to get into a hobby now that the kids are gone.  Was a toss up
between this and RC planes.  Decided to do the planes.  But, there is always
hope!  Now I lurk for the entertainment value.  Have found a lot of great
web sites because of your posting.  Thank you!

Now maybe I can give one back.  Take a look at the link below my name.  It
would be great if you could help out.

Unless Dave Grayvis is female?

I don't usually post unless I can add something of substance.  As I'm
just getting my feet wet, that's not very often.
Can I be a "Semi - Lurker"?
