Let it be concluded:

Jerry Irvine is not a legitimate High Power Rocket Motor Manufacturer.

He is not a legitimate rocket motor dealer.

He is not being singled out by NAR and TRA because of a personal vendetta, but because his
"business model" is not within the current confines of the orgs. certification service
outlines.  If change is required of the NAR or TRA, then there are more appropriate
avenues to pursue that change.

With our help, Jerry has become a very successful Troll on this newsgroup.

He is a sad man, his only real concern is to disrupt our dialog.

Maybe it is time for us to discontinue aiding and abetting him.

No, I'm not the moderator, just a concerned citizen making a suggestion.

After all these years?

Fat chance.

Too many peoples' hobby is arguing extraneous bullshit in this
newsgroup for it to ever end.
Beatle Man - 24 Apr 2004 09:45 GMT
I concur completely ... when ever people ask me about attaining model
or
high power rocket information, I never suggest or even hint to them
the existence of this news group.  IMHO, it would turn them off from
the hobby ...
soil their conception of what we trully are.

With all the banter and bullshit that goes on here, you never see it
at
launches ... well at least I didn't and don't anymore.  I think even
Jerry
"the Skippy" Irvine could show up at a launch, unannounced, and get a
few hand
shakes and be asked for an autograph or two ... no really!

Point. They do here what they'd be afraid to do in 3space, or at least
have the decency not to pull it off around others.

P.s. to Jerry ...

Jerry please don't go anywhere near Kosdon ... he probably would end up
in prision after he kills you :(

That's skippy's claim, not Frank's.

Frank has to get in line. Skippy Irvine has more enemies in rocketry
than anyone.

Yes, there Are a lot of "members" in the skippy irvine fan club.

Looking forward to seeing the Skipster at LDRS. He's going to look
quite the idiot at an event sponsored by an organization he spends all
year slamming.

But then again he's never been the sharpest tool in the shed...

If you have a camera, please make sure you get some pictures (or video!)
of rocketry's loneliest "vendor".

Hmm... I see a lot of people saying "Jerry has so many enemies" or
"Many people will say they've heard that someone said there are a
lot of awful stories going around about him" or something similar.

I see much more of this second-order hearsay than I do of actual
"enemies" coming forward with actual claims - and in the cases
where the story is actually told, it's usually more like "I ordered
a kit from Jerry and it took a long time to arrive; the nose cone was
nice but the wood parts seemed thin and splintery" or something: valid
criticism perhaps, but scarcely grounds for a multi-year grudge...

David if you were in prison do you think you would be someone's bitch?
You definitely have a feminine side in your protection of Skippy. Is
this what they call man-love?

Now you're being crude.

This has nothing to do with anybody's
sex life (in or out of prison).

All He said was, "man-love".  Are you homophobic?

It's got nothing to do with all that.
Some folks seem to be in the habit of
flaming Jerry for the mere sour sport
of it (like elementary-school children
with their playground exclusion games:
"tease the weirdo" by whatever name, etc.) -
my impulse is to simply try to damp down
that sort of noise when I see it get going
(even at the expense of finding myself
taking a contrary position to some who
I might, on other matters, consider to
be reasonable posters).

That's just how I feel about the situation -
I don't consider it a "feminine" or "masculine"
attitude at all.

Point.

This should be in the FAQ.

Talk to ANY former business partner of skippy's, ANY of them, and they
will all tell you the exact same thing.

You do know that Frank and others, have a Fraud judgment against
"skippy", don't you?
Beatle Man - 25 Apr 2004 09:44 GMT
Hey don't forget that Kosdon's building was the victim of an arsen
fire soon after the judgement was handed down ... ah the memories from
years past ...

I think if Skippy went to prision, he would be everyone's BITCH.

No one knows what its like to be the bad man ... to be the sad man ...
behind Kangaroo eyes ...

My problem is that down here "skippy the bush kangaroo" is a much
revered icon, held near and dear to many generations of children who
grew up with him.

I always liked the tag he received over on ROLChat "irswine", kinda
sums it up..  I do recall someone posting a very elegant piece of
prose in here some time back about some sort of disease or something
(try are search on irswine)

Given recent rants, I am beginning to think that report has some basis
in fact.

It doesn't take much on rmr.

Bill on delivery killed their commercial traction so they had to resort
to fiction.
