Hi All, Just made a quick stop at a local Hobby Lobby to look for clearance stuff. Found a new Micro-Max Starter set. Several rockets, pad & 50 motors for $39 I believe. Contains the existing Toy-Biz era plastic rockets (10) and the new MicroMaxx II -1 motors (50) with WMX igniters. Full size Quest launch pad with micro rod and adapter sleeve to fit in existing hole. QMX adapter so you can use the supplied 9 volt electronic controller (which has micro clips). Deal of the Century. I was given 1/2 off, since 'plastic models' had a 1/2 off sale on the store flier. Also found some C11-0's for $4.50 (none left now). Got to say the packaging of the Micromaxx's is a bit cheap. A bag of rockets, a bag of motors, a pad & launch control in a bag and a piece of cardboard covered with ignitors. All padded with 3 sheets of crumpled paper! Fly straight and true (some of those Micromaxx's just don't!) MikeyR Add plastic fins to the Saturn V for perfectly straight flights. Photos are over on the Micromax (one "x") YahooGroup.
