Just emailed Bill at BMS the specs for a Skylab nose. It would include all the
parts above the ejection break--the S-II/S-IVB adapter (same as in the Apollo
Saturn V kit), the Skylab tube (longer than the S-IVB tube), Skylab nose cone,
and three laser-cut detail parts. It would also include a screw eye and some
sort of nose weight. The idea is that you could just swap it onto your
Apollo-Saturn V.
I am also staring at my drawings of the LUT (Launch umbillical tower). Laser
cutting would be just the technique for making an easy-to assemble. But ugh,
they look like a bear to draw up.

Pete,
Not tooting my horn (not much to toot about anyway) but have you seen
the stuff I have on the LUT at the Yahoo LUT Group and at
http://www.savethelut.org (which is now superfluous since they've
trashed the LUT because of 'environmental concerns about the paint...)?
Also, there are several members on the group who may have some of the
drawings that you are interested in 'available' if given appropriate
groveling...
