Hello there,
I am going to be in San Francisco in early March and wondered if there are any
good hobby stores that I can visit. In particular, I would like to check out
places that have stock of mid and high power supplies. I'm mostly interested in
motor hardware and such. I've done a bit of web searching but I thought there
might be some places that don't have a web site. Any favourites out there? I can
travel a bit outside the city as well. I'll be spending a bit of time tasting
wine too so any shops in wine country would be good. 8-) I know wine country is
a little generic but we have not planned it out in final detail yet.
Thanks in advance!

How about Modesto Hobbies and Crafts?

Saw some mid power stuff when I was out there in 2001. I'd also
suggest
taking a train ride and visiting the Luther Burbank experimental farm
in
Sebastopol.
