rocket beeper, cheap find

I fould a bunch of 110 dba security beepers that fits in my 1.5" i.d. mail
tube rockets. And the best thing is they dont need to be modified, they come
with a mini key that you attach to the shock cord, once removed it will
scream till you turn them off. I got them for less than $3 each.

A little private discount store names Cara's, but if anyone wants some just
let me know, I can get a pile of 'em, I do stuff the battery compartment
though to make sure it dosnt shut off.

  Take care to secure the straps well.  I've used a couple of those
small 'screamers'... after a few flights, the strap broke and didn't
pull the pin out.  :-(

  The new ones I picked up have straps looped through holes I drilled
into the casing, and reinforced with liberal amounts of CA.

Actually its a key ring and not a strap.

  Still... it's a potential 'failure-point' that should be guarded
against.  ;-)
