Jerry Irvine - 22 Aug 2005 19:21 GMT Frank authorized the upload of a video interview I did with him. If you like Frank, watch it.
If you are a troll. Just go away quietly please.
Thanks.

I thought about it about 5 minutes after I hit send.
Soon afterward the trolls started posting. Despite my polite request.
I do not feel it necessary to warn the trolls. They hopefully have dial-up :)
Comments:
Too short? 38mb! Directed interview? Kosdon drones on without direction, believe me. Do I vote? Yes. Own guns? Not before, and not now either. Didn't notify of size. Correct.
In my defense, I DID take a video of him and upload it. Waiting for someone else to do it was taking too long.
I have another earlier one also large if enough people are genuinely interested. Emnail me if you' really care.
Jerry
P.S. If you have the capability to transfer it to VHS and mail it to Frank, I am sure he would appreciate it.

Posting comments about your upload, is not an example of going away quietly.

The interview was FORCED. You were artificial and he wasn't REALLY warm to you as you are trying to convince people that he is. You cut him OFF a couple of times because you were trying to FORCE the conversation in a direction YOU wanted it togo.
So, ok you own a video camera. So, ok Frank is better person than you.
So, you were at a launch. Ok, that is obvious. Now ...
... Do you have a video of you paying the $40,000.00 fine? Do you have a video tape of BATF agents arresting you? Do you have a video tape of your felony convictions? Hehehe I can and do legally own fire arms and vote ... how about you?
Do you have a video tape of all the people you have screwed over the last 20+ years? Next time, pull down your pants, bend over and video tape that so we can DREAM about screwing you right back in your a.s with a blunt and barbed instrument ... PLEASE!
Your friend, LunarBob

Kosdon really is one of the "good guys" in the hobby. Even when he is upset with you, he shows tolerance and civility ... Jerry knows this and he is trying to use Kosdon as a means to show everyone in the hobby, "see I (Jerry) really am a nice guy ... a bit misunderstood, but a nice guy ... Frank and I are pals again!".
Frank trust Jerry as far as Frank could punt a football at this point with his leg injury.

My experience has been different. I've met Jerry too and worked on launches with him. Never had a single problem. Rather than trying to read into the interview, why not take it at face value and give all parties concerned the benefit of the doubt.
This negative name calling and denouncement of select individuals is getting older by the minute. The point is, Frank is recovering and for that we're all glad. As to the rest of it, why not let it drop.

Frank was being polite. Several years ago, Frank had major heart bypass surgery. The veins used in the surgery were harvested from His legs, hence Frank's current condition.

Roy Green - 26 Aug 2005 17:18 GMT I don't know how old Kosdon is, or how much damage his heart sustained, but I had that surgery just year and I'm not doing bad at all. I suspect, looking at his ankle, that he's probably got CHF and maybe diabetes as well, which can make recovery much more difficult. I also walk 3 miles a day if I can and it sounds as if Kosdon has never been that type of guy.

lunarlosREMOVE2EMAIL@juno.com - 28 Aug 2005 22:05 GMT OMG you are correct Dave! Once at a DREADED and DANGEROUS high power event, I had the pleasure of talking with Frank and discussing Jerry Irvine ... my oh my, oh my, Frank's veins started to swell, he became red in the face ... he had a few not so nice words about Heir Jer ... and well they included M*ther F&cker, "lying son of a bitch" and others ... damn, I wish I had VIDEO of that to post here!
Look, I don't HATE Jerry, I just find him comical and a sad figure actually ... I mean he has NO credibility. He is universally HATED, why even Bob Kaplow has painted Jer's face on rockets and been photographed SCOWLING at it. Jer owes the government over $40,000.00, and winners of a civil lawsuit, tens of thousands. Also he is a convicted felon. He can't vote (participate in the great Freedom that we honest citizens enjoy), he can't LEGALLY own or operate a firearm, he has a F.B.I. file that will be reviewed should some explosive device be found or detonated in his local area/region, he will have his tax returns monitored ... basically he NOW has "Big Brother" on his front door! Damn, thank God almighty, I am NOT Jerry Irvine!
So in actuality, I get a kick and a good laugh from just about EVERYTHING that this UNcitizen has to type or say ... he is pure BULLSHIT. I know it, the readers of this newsgroup know it ... and most of all, JERRY KNOWS IT. I say more bandwidth too him ... this guy is a joke, and I mean that in a fun way, not in a harsh way. Jerry keep the postings coming man, you are a better bullshitter than Bill Clinton, and THAT is impressive! You really should sale used cars, as I think you could make millions!
So, Frank has mellowed out ... strokes and heart attacks will do that to you ... I also feel that it was a bit sinister for Jerry to take advantage of Frank's condition and try to be "buddy buddy" with him on camera, but hey WHO are we talking about ... Jerry Irvine ... how the f.ck do you expect him to act? I mean common, this is Jerry Irvine we are talking about :) The only rocketeer that I know of, that has people painting sniper scope images on his face and posting them to the public. He is a KNOWN quantity, so why all the surprise? :)
Jerry, please DON'T stop posting and no this isn't any reverse physo crap to get you to stop ... I WAN'T you to continue ... by doing so, you inform and entertain the rocket community. Matter of fact, start cross posting to the other rocket forums ... they need a kick start, and YOU and only YOU know how to do that voodoo that you do so well!
Hey, can you get a video of you and Bruce Kelly ... now THAT would be some action/adventure footage ... just make sure you do it AFTER Kelly is ill cause I don't want you damaged in ANY way :) You are a diamond in the rough ... just looking out for you Jerry ...

In Our case, there was no criminal fraud prosecution of jerry, only civil prosecution. jerry May still go to jail eventually, but not for what he did to Us ("powertech" partners).
I also know that any money jerry does/will have, if it can be found and seized, would end up going to the feds, to help pay off jerry's DOT fine.

Duane Phillips - 26 Aug 2005 01:13 GMT The interviewer has that "NYPD BLUE" flair for moving the camera too much, and keeps interjecting and cutting into the interview. Unfortunately, one must already know Frank to glean anything from this at all... and then it still does nothing.
The video gives more insight about the interviewer than the subject.
This is not really an interview at all, it is just another home video.
