Indeed! This is almost as complex as the rules for the Americas Cup
sailing competition. The geeks will be in heaven measuring and
computing airframe volumes on the field.
The volume "formula" could be simplified, but since tables are
provided for each motor, one could simply have "fair" volumes for each
motor considering all aspects, and not just the arbitrary formula.
This leaves me with the question: What about the restrictor plates?
Nevertheless, anything that generates interest and participation is a
good thing.
