Tripoli Store Grand Opening

TRA has just created an online store offering officially licensed
Tripoli merchandise.  Items available with the Tripoli logo include
mugs, cups, caps, tee-shirts, sweatshirts and other items.  The store is
at cafe press (www.cafepress.com/tripolirocketry).  A small percentage
of sales at Cafe Press is refunded to Tripoli.

This is in no way meant to take away from the current vendors that offer
Tripoli ware and donate a portion (10%) of their sales to Tripoli.
Please continue to support those vendors who help support Tripoli.

If you have any concerns or requests, please contact Bob Schoner.

Perhaps we need some further detail.

I should not stop buying from the vendors who already sell and will donate
10%, but should buy from here where a smaller "%?" percent goes back to TRA?

Cafe press kind of allows you to determine your margin over cost. Perhaps
that should be made known?

Just my 2 cents

FYI not opposed to the idea, just wondering why even take a chance at
undercutting vendors who do so much to support the hobby already.

Sometimes, management decisions defy logic, regardless of the effect on
the bottom line.(:-) Let's see: we don't know what the "small %" is from
Cafe Press, but venders on average donate 10%; left hand-right hand
logic?? No brainier to me who I support.

Again then that begs the question why bother? But I agree as too whom to buy
from its a no brainer. Just wondering why TRA is fooling around with.

Because some people requested items with the TRA logo on them.  In
TRA's announcement, they said that buying from vendors other than Cafe
will benefit them more so please continue to do so.  Using Cafe, they
can offer a wider variety of items.

Yes.  There are a few rocketry dealers that do.  I don't remember who
they are but acording to a post by Bob Schoner, TRA makes more for
those than from Cafe Press.
