In watching the video, it mentioned that the launch site was covered in
landmines.  This might be a stunt though.  Or it might have been a
delayed Contrail Cato.  ;-)

Looks like a little bit of explosives and a lot of gasoline. If you step
through the 'landing' frame by frame it's easy to see where the explosion
was patched into the sequence.
