AeroTech is offering a special promotion to its NAR and Tripoli Level 1,
2 & 3 certification customers, available only through participating
high-power RMS dealers.

The Level 1-2-3 promotion includes the H128W-M reload kit for $9.49 (50%
off MSRP), the J350W-M reload kit for $26.49 (50% off MSRP) and the
M1297W-P reload for $194.99 (25% off MSRP). This offer is exclusively
for individuals seeking Level 1, 2 or 3 certification, and customers
must present their NAR or Tripoli certification paperwork to the dealer
prior to purchase. The Level 1-2-3 promotion reload kits will be clearly
marked "for certification flights only".

The promotion ends on May 30, 2007. After that date, dealers who have
any remaining inventory of Level 1-2-3 reloads may continue to sell them
until their stock runs out. However, depending on the success of the
program, AeroTech may choose to extend the length of the offer.

AeroTech Consumer Aerospace is a division of RCS Rocket Motor
Components, Inc., Cedar City, UT.

Once you understand the reasoning, the actions are understandable.  They
don't necessarily make sense or justify the actions, but they are
understandable.  I mean, after all, this is the nip-and-tuck of the
highly competitive hobby rocketry news marketplace, where fortunes are
won or lost at a moments notice, all due to what was said first and by whom.

In other words, it's called saving face, trying to undo something that
has already been done.  Things change, life moves on.  For most.

that's bullshit, yo. they ain't never heard if its worth doin, its worth doin right? all this garbage about being first, what is this the Post trying to scoop the Times?

something else i don't understand...putting the url in the message.  i mean, you just posted the entire message, why do i need a url to see the same thing?  next thing you know we'll be readin about barcodes and bag thickness again... just go back to the old skool, like it was the last six months -- nada.

What's wrong with that?  At least they weren't making things up.  Hmm
I wonder if anyone ever did check to see if the bag thicknesses were
as advertised.  This could be a new responsibility for S&T or TMT.

Shame they're not offering a similar incentive in the UK.  With the
announcement of CE marking finally making the purchase of AT motors legal
again in the UK you would have thought some kind of promotion would be in
order, if only to try and persuade flyers to move back to AT.

There are an awful lot of flyers here with no AP experience other than ProX.
There are also many flyers with red or black wind chimes who need some kind
of incentive to go back to the old ways.  After all it is much easier to
screw in a ProX reload than build an AT reload.

Instead of bitching about it, why don't you try to do something about
it by contacting Aerotech.  Aren't you a dealer?  Get off your a.s and
go make some money.

Sorry - I was confused.  The part about contacting Aerotech still
applies.  It couldn't hurt to send an email.
