Funny, but you seem to be posting through a news server at in Texas, and I wonder if they know you're using it! I don't know... the Americans seem to have a one strike rule when it comes to crimes, like they dont think anyone could ever be rehabilitated or something. My dad recently became an American citizen, and he petitioned me for a green card, but it's gonna take a long time (many years) and God knows if they will let me back in. My dad says he's got lawyers working on this. Yes I overstayed my visa but I was like a toddler when it expired, so I operated under the assumption that I was at least a legal perm. resident and I got some firearms like most Americans... but it seems having a firearm (and not doing anything else with it) and having an expired visa makes you a criminal according to the law...
