hi all, i am thinking about buying the apogee saturn V.
has anyone built this kit? And do you have any hints or tips on the build?
i am a little worried abut the glueing of the vacumed formed wraps.

I like to use polyurethane (i.e. "Gorilla") glue for attaching plastic wraps.
It is very slow-curing, which is helpful in that you have lots of time to adjust
and position the wrap just right.  A very thin coat on the BT is all you need,
applied with a finely notched trowel made from a piece of plastic.

Also, I recommend pre-curling the wraps by rolling them up inside a tube
such as a spare body tube, for a couple of hours.  This helps prevent the
wrap's tendency to uncurl.  Secure the wraps with rubber bands and allow
the glue 24 hours to fully cure.

One caveat about polyurethane glue - it expands and foams up a little
while it cures, so you get some squeeze-out.  You have to watch for this and
clean off any squeeze-out before it hardens, or it's a beeyotch to remove.
Check the glue-up every so often during the first few hours, and clean off
any squeeze-out with rubbing alcohol and Q-tips.

hi all, i am thinking about buying  a 4" butt plug.
>>> Much snippage <<<

Your fascination with the above orifice plugs and other deviant subjects
is quite telling. In any case and without question, your ignorance is
for and away exceeded by your moronic stupidity and inability to
recognize either"....

The hair dryer idea is worth testing out, but be careful...  vacuum formed
plastic wraps can easily be damaged by too much heat...  I once tried to
straighten part of an Estes space shuttle by warming it over a stove, and
instead of softening it just suddenly melted and shriveled.

So tell us Freddie did they charge full price for a grave site since
you got all the goodie out of old mom and she was nothing but a grease
spot on the floor when you got finished with her or did you just wipe
her up with the mop bucket and pour her down the drain? Inquiring
minds want to know!

Your anonymous fascination with the above removed sick drivel and other
deviant subjects is obvious and quite telling. In any case and without
question, your ignorance is greatly exceeded by your moronic
stupidity/mental defects and your inability to recognize the facts in
evidence"....

thank you eek, i like the idea of rolling them up in the tube before
attempting to install them.
i got the kit today and looked at the wraps, i am wondering if a little
heat(hairdryer) would also help them form around.
