What the thread on the rod at the bottom of a Black Sky standard rail? I seem to have lost mine and I don't have any thread gauges to measure the one on the rail itself. The bolt excepted a, "3/8" national course", threaded nut. The bolt appears to be a standard 3/8" bolt with the head removed and 1&1/8" of thread. Several years ago I used JB Weld epoxy to secure the bolt shank inside the 7&1/2" mounting rod, as the allen retaining nut on the mount rod did not hold the bolt secure, in the mount rod very well.
