As I said, "Hardware alone isn't worth much."

If you do not make your own propellant, you are correct. For some of us,
hardware, casting tubes, and liners is good enough. We have the rest of
the technology...(:-)

To you and me, that's correct. But he seems pretty open about the
fact that he's supplying hardware for people who want to do research
(as he calls it) motors, where 'research' means formulating your own
propellant. I can definitely see a niche for what he's doing (not a
large niche, but a niche).

Hey cant we leave the size of my Niche out of this. :)
The hardware is for EX'ers after i got my L3 I started to get bored
with rocketry. I then found EX or Research as TRA wants you to call
it. No one was making smaller stuff and I wanted to try it out. I
always had some propellant left over after making motors and thought
I'll make some smaller motors. then one thing lead to the next and I'm
making hardware. I was trying to let people know that there is a place
where they can get small research hardware.
I just fired a 18mm F-28 cslot motor 2.5 second burn. It was awesome
red flame as long as the case. Its just the next level for me I like
burning motors I designed. Sometimes they they don't work as planed
but then I just try something else until I get it there. When you can
tailor the motor to the rocket and not just the rocket to the motor
then you have the total picture.
