strand burner

I am designing a strand burner to characterize my propellant.  Richard Nakka
recommends using nitrogen to pressurize the chamber.  I was considering
using an air gun hand pump which is capable of 3000 psi.  Is there a hazard
with burning propellant with pressurized air instead of Nitrogen?

Any help is appreciated.

Don't do that!  That's how a diesel engine works.
