JAXA Confirms Gosat Launch
January 26, 2009
[Satellite Today 01-26-09] The Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency
(JAXA) and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries have launched the Greenhouse
Gases Observing Satellite (Gosat) satellite aboard the H-2A launch
vehicle from the Tanegashima Space Center, JAXA announced Jan. 23.
The satellite is one of the first satellites in the world to
measure greenhouse gases (carbon dioxide and methane) from space.
The satellite is a result of co-operation between JAXA, the
Japanese National Institute for Environment Studies and the Japanese
Ministry of the Environment.

One of these times you will have to admit
satellite data does not confirm your thesis.
But of course if it doesn't you will find a
ready excuse at Real Climate.

Maybe the greenhouse gases are just a 'cover story'. Perhaps it's REALLY
a whale-spotting satellite?

It doesn't?  A completely insane lie.

Excellent.  The OCO goes up next month, too.

NASA's Orbiting Carbon Observatory and GOSAT
will crosscheck each other.  Expect similar
instruments from the EU, Russia, and China, too.
5 nations will all monitor greenhouse gasses.
No one will cheat on the next global warming
treaty without quickly geting caught.

Before this year is out, expect to find VERY
accurate, VERY up-to-date greenhouse emission
and forcing data published on the net.  Questions
that we often debate here will be answered by
quality realtime measurements.

[sigh]
What a colossal waste of taxpayer money!
There will be some very red faces once the scam is exposed.

Warmest Regards
