Well, not that there's been anything of consequence here for at LEAST
the past week or two, but I'm not even going to be lurking anymore -- my
service provider is removing usenet service unless I pay an additional
$30/month (and I have to be honest, I don't really use it anymore...)
I'll miss the fun glue threads, etc., etc., but that's progress...

My ISP (comcast) dropped usenet years ago; I've been happy with
eternal-september.org (free, but text-only) ever since.

It's been awhile but I've enjoyed reading and posting with you on rmr since
about 1997. I understand about the providers, usenet seems destined to the
great recycle bin in the Ethernet.
I hope you'll stop by YORF or RP once in a while.
